As a summer member of the Coaching Program at The Academy at Piper’s Heath, students will be able to have access to the private end of the range with a coaching staff that is on hand to help them with their games on a continual basis. Students can book one coaching session per week with the instruction team, subject to availability and the coach’s discretion.
Lessons are approximately 30 minutes in duration and are meant to be a coaching system designed to improve the player’s game without the pressure of a time limits or a certain number range balls to accomplish the lesson. Members have full time access to the private Academy end of the range so the players have the privacy, facilities and resources to properly work on all aspects of their game.
Members are entitled to:
- Coaching and instructional advice sessions, 1 official booking per calendar week with coaching staff. Duration of a minimum of 30 minutes each.
- Ongoing game and improvement advice with recommendations. Instructors may choose to alter lesson time based on performance and reserves the right to schedule the students plans based on results.
- Access to entire instructional team and benefits of all teaching technologies available.
- Unlimited range ball usage.
- Use of the driving range facilities. Always subject to availability based on course and academy bookings.
- Access to private Academy end of range
- Invitations to special clinics and seminars done by professional staff during the season
- Wednesday Night Ball Strikers club participation

As a Practice Member, players can have access to the Academy end of the driving range facility to work on all aspects of their game. With unlimited use of the balls and the range facilities, a player can experience the perfect environment to improve their skills and work with the professional staff at their discretion on a per lesson basis. It’s the perfect combination of convenience, facilities and environment for players to refine their game without limitations.
*The Academy professionals have the discretion to the daily layout design of the facilities. Designated practice areas will be set-up and maintained for members during all hours of operation. Range and facility use is always subject to availability based on course and academy events during the season. Priority use of facilities will always be given to lesson programs in progress.
Practice Members are entitled to:

The Academy at Piper’s Heath Junior Camp program will run through July and August in the selected weeks. Each camp will offer the best in instruction in a safe, professional and fun learning environment.
All camps students will be grouped by age, golf ability and skill progression at the discretion of the Academy professional Canadian PGA staff.
- Camp 1 - JULY 7 2008 – JULY 11 2008
- Camp 2 - JULY 14 2008 – JULY 18 2008
- Camp 3 - JULY 21 2008 – JULY 25 * Canadian Open Week Special Clinic.
- Camp 4 – JULY 28 - AUG 1 2008

- All camps will maintain a maximum 6:1 student to instructor ratio.
- The minimum number of participants to operate a camp is 4.
- Minimum age is 7 years old to participate. Maximum age is 18 years old.
- Camps are always subject to weather limitations.
Ages for Junior student classes:
SUPER JUNIORS DIVISION : 7-9 years old Group
*Introduction to the fundamentals of the swing and game.
*Learning how to have fun with golf!
POWER JUNIOR DIVISION: 10-12 years old Group
*Learning how to put your skills into play and how to generate more power.
*Participants get an introduction to the rules of the game, etiquette and some competitive play.
ADVANCED JUNIOR DIVISION: 13-15 years old Group
*Learning how to play the game while building on the core fundamentals of the swing.
*Experience with how to play competitive tournament golf with a focus on mental game and course management skills.
ELITE JUNIOR PROGRAM
AGES: 13-18 years old. Tuesday’s & Thursday’s 4:00pm – 6:00pm

This program is comprehensive training system for competitive & collegiate levels of play. Participants refine their overall game and incorporate full body training with complete introduction into advanced training methods and preparation for high level competition. The program includes one night per week at driving range and second session with professional personal training staff at an offsite fitness location. 8:1 Student to instructor ratio, Maximum 16 participants per class.
LADIES ONLY CLINICS

The Ladies Only clinics are a unique opportunity for women to learn in a fun and friendly private environment with no risk of feeling pressured by the gentlemen! These 1 hour weekly clinics are designed to be an introduction to the game of golf and swing fundamentals. They are also excellent for refining an already decent golf game through guided practice with the professional staff. Participants will be grouped by ability and receive the attention of a guaranteed maximum 8:1 student teacher ratio. Participants can attend 1 of 4 available times per week for total convenience and flexibility in your busy weekly schedule. Golf equipment can be provided by request.

Designed to be a clinic’s for couples or friends that wish to learn and play golf together. These clinics are meant to be an introduction to the fundamentals of the game but are also an excellent opportunity to refine and already solid game. The professional golf staff works with each student and while your golf partner is there for support and learning along the way even if you are at different levels of ability. It’s a fun and supportive learning environment all around!
With a guaranteed 8:1 student to instructor ratio, each participant will get one–on-one time to address each players needs and then create a learning program for improvement with the professional staff. All classes are run in a comfortable private academy environment.
Classes run weekly on Tuesday’s at 6:30pm-7:30pm leaving time to perhaps take your new skills learned on the course for some twilight golf.
PROGRAM #1 – Begins week of May 5, 2008 for 4 weeks
PROGRAM #2 – Begins week of June 2, 2008 for 4 weeks
** All lesson programs are subject to weather conditions. Rain or weather make-up clinics for PROGRAMS #1 & #2 would be following Tuesdays at 7:45pm - 8:45pm with last make-up being the first Tuesday June 3, 2008 & the second program schedule the last make-up for Thursday June 26th at 8:15pm.
A special open ‘drop-in’ clinic designed for players that want to have some professionally supervised practice time. These clinics are for up to 12 participants of all ages and abilities. Make Wednesday’s your practice night with our professional staff there to help you with general coaching and advice.
*Piper’s Academy Coaching Program Members enjoy these classes included free in their membership.
*Piper’s Practice Members have the option to participate for $20.
*General public players may join the classes for $40.
All sessions are 90 minutes classes with unlimited range balls included.
Corporate group clinics are fully customizable to any situation. Clinics are an all inclusive package that can be a standalone event or add to a business event such as a tournament or meeting day. Depending on the size of the group, clinics will always maintain a maximum 8:1 Student to professional setting and group participants according to their skill levels and abilities.
Corporate events are designed to include food and beverage services throughout the day and can include a minimum of 9 holes of playing.
Rates for participations are based on duration and options chosen. All lesson based clinics include all necessary golf equipment provided for participation.
Minimum group size is 4 participants with a maximum of 8 students per professional instructor. Standard Golf Professional base rate for all lesson clinics is $200+GST per hour.
Academy Golf Professional staff offer:
Clinic cost per instructor at an 8:1 Ratio = 1 hour $200, 2 hours $350, 3 hours = $500
“Beat the Pro” on Course Contest Service = $500 for event duration
“Walk-the-Line” Event Swing Evaluations & Swing Filming Service = 1 hour $200 per instructor
